First of all, as you know, the NIT's final four is held every year at Madison Square Garden, which possibly the best venue to watch a broadcast game from. The floor always seems a little shinier, the paint a little brighter and the atmosphere is unbeatable.

off-season to Seattle after he gave the franchise his entire career, left everything he had on the Madison Square Garden hardwood. Sure loyalty in the age of the free agent is something that has become a near joke, but the way the Knicks and the Dolans handled this multi-year All-Star who lit up the Garden during a fantastic play-off run throughout the late 80s and 90s bordered on contempt.

The Knicks settled their nasty sexual harassment lawsuit this week, and about time. What kills me is why Zeke is still at the reigns of this enfeebled franchise. He’s never made a franchise good, but maybe the Dolan’s have a twisted plan – every team Zeke has been apart of sucks rotten eggs while he’s there, but they perform a turnaround worthy of Lee Iacoca one he leaves – Raptors and Pacers come to mind. So maybe that’s what the Dolans are doing, seeing how they won’t be able to have a good team until 2010 anyway (see my other post).
