The Lakers really didn't have to worry because they had too many stars on their side. Kobe only had 21 but looked as if he were out at the Rucker rather than an NBA  season game. With behind-the-back passes, fancy dribbling, and his nonchalant attitude, the Lakers easily cruised to a 116-109 win.

But they haven't even played Boston yet right? Doesn't matter, the simple fact that Kobe knew would be guarding him and the fact that he wanted to hit the shot in his face speaks volumes to me.

It took just one split second and Farmar was racing down the other side of the court. 

 Kobe was Kobe as usual in 4th quarter scoring nine perfect points exactly when his team needed it. And now that Gasol had a year to toughen up at the C position, he has really melded in the PF spot. I think he's averaging close to 12 rebounds per game. Bynum is also coming along. I think that he can do 10 and 10 just about every night. I haven't really gotten to watch Odom play much this season, but judging by the stat sheets, I think that he can step up a little bit more.

Oh and “your boy” Kobe “Bean” Bryant looked like he was okay just coasting through the game until Prizbilla tried to prove his manhood on a unnecessary hard foul. I like Pryzbilla and I think that usually this is the right thing to do, but wrong guy, you idiot!

Before I even get to Kobe, in this game we have 3 of the top 7 future big men. That’s right people 3/7 of the future top big men. In the next 3-4 years Oden, Aldridge, Bynum, Howard, Jefferson and Hawes will dominant the NBA. I know that last one throws you off, but I’ll have to discuss it at a later date.
