e to see who has the highest per game scoring average without a 50-point game.

The answer: Kevin Garnett, at 20.8 points per game in his career, has never posted a 50-point game. KG’s career high came back in 2005 with the Timberwolves when he dropped 47 on the Suns.

The Bulls are showing signs of their great days once again..

They have very talented guards in Rose and Gordon, They also have a veteran center finally who compliments his teammates well in Brad Miller.

r absence has exposed the Boston bench and forced Rivers to rely more on Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett, who is beginning to show signs of fatigue.

Garnett may not admit it, but he's not the same player. The effort and the intensity is still there but KG's offense has fallen dramatically and his rebounding has become just average. KG still wants to push forward, but his gas tank is running close to empty.

players have been named to the first team more, but keep in mind that two of them are still active, Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan, both two years older than Kobe. He is also labeled the best defender often, and was chosen to shut down every opposing team's best player during the past olympics. Next is Derek Fisher. Nothing special about Derek Fisher, besides the fact that he is a thick guard who is as quick as the best of them. He has great hands and is one of the smartest point gaurds in the game. Great addition to the defense. Trevor Ariza, not only is a great defende, but apparently can actually hit open jumpers now. I won't go through the bench one by one, but Sasha Vujacic has been known to be a pest, Luke Walton is one of the few remaining players who knows how to rotate to the baseline, and everybody knows that no one wants to drive on D.J. Mbenga. Ok, maybe a stretch there, but the main reason the Lakers are a ver good defensive team is Andrew Bynum. His return not only lets Pau Gasol off the hook from gaurding the biggest guy on the court, it shuts down the middle. While not as athletic or dominating as a young Shaq, he is as big as Shaq, and is sixth in the league in blocked shots this year. His precense takes up the paint and just as important, gives Pau and Lamar Odom a break from the bigger guys.

Newspapers and local radio hosts hyped Tracy McGrady as the new Kevin Garnett in terms of having some success in the league, but never being able to get a ring. All of that led to Tuesday's nights game matching the Houston Rockets against the Defending World Champions, Boston Celtics.

ead and break down all the matchups, the fate of the series will be in the hands of Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett.

I've always believed that to win an NBA title, your best player has to be at his absolute best when it matters most. When you review past Finals MVPs, it's going to look like a Hall of Fame induction speech.

This NBA Finals will be the most watched Finals in a couple years. I myself have not watched any in quite a few years since the Spurs and Pistons were so frequently in them. No offense to them but they are just not exciting teams to watch. I would much rather watch Kobe light up the Celts great D for 50 points or the Big Three of Boston. Tim Duncan is just not an exciting player to watch. Not only are the teams fun to watch but each of the matchups are interesting:

Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett

Why they are the MVP:  They turned around one of the worst teams in the league from a year ago.  They have given up the stats of superstars and meshed with Ray Allen and the role players to make the Celtics not just relevant again, but a powerhouse.

The only problem with having 60 wins, is having 60 wins.  The better the record, the more a team becomes a favorite, the more they're expected to win.  And ultimately, constant pressure starts pushing down on them like a fat guy in a kids top bunk bed.  It can be difficult for a team (or a frightened kid below), especially a great one.   I didn't even mention the Patriots.
