Florida

Did you know the Big 10 has been down for about 12 straight seasons according to the national media (ESPN) and ignorant football fans.. mainly in SEC territory?  So, Ohio State gets railroaded by one of the best teams in the nation yearly since Urban Meyer shows up, and that team features a QB some call "legendary" or the best ever in college history.  Michigan takes it on the chin against what some might call a semi-professional team (only semi because apparently some of the athletes are getting paid.. Reggie Bush?) and suddenly the conference is terrible.  They are slow.  They are mongrols; they can't throw the ball.. they can't stop the spread.

Meanwhile Alabama has a SEC championship game with Florida waiting for them. What could be interesting about all this is Boise State and Utah could be the country's only undefeated and not make it. I look for Alabama and Texas Tech to lose somewhere down the line. If we have a bunch of one loss teams than the BCS will have to give a bunch of bad news to a lot of teams. In fact it should be very interesting. I am praying for a lot of one loss teams so eventually we can get rid of the BCS and put in a playoff system.

I do think there’s an advantage from an altitude standpoint. Players that have played here over the years feel that way as well.” ‘• OLB Joey Porter, who went to school at Colorado, is concerned about the altitude. “The altitude is really big. I’ve trained there a lot. I’ll go back to California for a week and come back and it feels like it’s ripping a hole in your chest. It’s definitely going to take some extra conditioning to where you go up in this thin air, you’re going to feel the difference.” Yahoo! Sports Oct 31, 3:46 am EDT’,”

his conference has you expect more.  The major story going on during thistournament is whether Florida can do enough to get themselves into the NCAATournament.  Tennessee should withthis tourney; they are the best team in the SEC and have dominated all yearlong.  I think Kentucky willcontinue to play well and assure themselves the NCAA Tourney bid by getting tothe finals before losing to the Vols. I have

This broke the Steelers unbeaten-at-home streak.

Overall, the state of Florida can celebrate tonight. Not only because they are not buried in snow, but because their NFL teams showed everyone that they won’t go away quietly. I am really proud of my second favorite state in the nation! Yeah
