"LOS ANGELES (AP)—Blake Griffin’s (notes) NBA debut has been pushed back indefinitely after the Los Angeles Clippers revealed late Monday night that their No. 1 overall draft pick has a broken left kneecap.

But the Orange will run into the Big Beast in Oklahoma's Blake Griffin. Griffin has shown why he is the player of the year throughout this tournament and I think Syracuse will have no answer for him inside. If the Cuse can hit the 3-point shot tonight, they can stay with Oklahoma but I think the Sooners will move on to the elite eight.

Blake Griffin should be a lock to earn player of the year honors but if for some reason his pro basketball career doesn't work out, maybe he should try the UFC or MMA. Not only did Griffin suffer a concussion earlier this year, but he in the tournament, he has been flipped, beaten and bruised. Saturday, Michigan cut his elbow and gave him a bloodied nose.
