Earl Clark expected to be selected no later than the Phoenix Suns at 14

The Phoenix Suns worked out Earl Clark of Louisville over the weekend and were extremely impressed with his workout. Earl Clark is listed at 6’10” about 230lbs. He is a match up nightmare for any defense due to his size and athleticism. He is extremely quick for his size which allows him to play great on ball defense. The Suns are looking to add defensive toughness to their roster and Clark would fit that mold. His height combined with foot speed has allowed him to stay in front of even the fastest guards in tryouts like Brandon Jennings. His height and 33” vertical leap make him a strong shot blocker.

It is rumored that the Phoenix Suns promised Clark if there at 14, they would pick him. He backed out of all future workouts with teams that drafted higher then the Suns at 14 as of Saturday. Combined with his impressive size, speed, and athleticism Earl Clark would be a great fit for the Phoenix Suns.
