How long should our players practice in Colorado in order to get their lungs conditioned to the altitude in order to have a winning game against the Broncos on their turf?

“According to Broncos coach Mike Shanahan who admitted Wednesday that the high altitude is a big reason why the Broncos own the best home record in the NFL over the last 30 years. “We’ve got the best record I think at home over the last 30 years and I don’t think it’s because we’ve been the best football team. I do think there’s an advantage from an altitude standpoint. Players that have played here over the years feel that way as well.”• OLB Joey Porter, who went to school at Colorado, is concerned about the altitude. “The altitude is really big. I’ve trained there a lot. I’ll go back to California for a week and come back and it feels like it’s ripping a hole in your chest. It’s definitely going to take some extra conditioning to where you go up in this thin air, you’re going to feel the difference.” Yahoo! Sports Oct 31, 3:46 am EDT’,”

I think as soon as our Sunday game is over with whomever the team we may be playing against, and our next game will be with the Broncos on their turf.  They need to pack up their suitcases and just head straight over to the Rockies and plant themselves there and start right in with their training, so their lungs have a chance to adapt to the high altitude there.

And here is David J. Neal of the Miami Heralds' article to back me up.

The Dolphins know their battle in Denver was worth leaving early to adjust to the elevation, but they tell themselves it is just another typical football field.

Which under his paragraph named 'Building Momentum'  that he copied from Yahoo Sports column.
