With the west packed with great teams, who's going to make it through to the finals of the NBA Championships?  Can Boston beat Detroit for the east?

Who's going to win it all?

The Los Angeles lakers aer going to win it all this year. Because they have the reigning mvp Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum plugging up the middle. Who is going to stop this power house.

I can tell you exactly who will stop that power house, and I can tell you this with a strong background to it. The Boston Celtics' big 3: Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen controlled the court all season and showed their dominance in the Finals. It will be the same scenario this year, but their record won't be 66-16 like last year, it will be a tougher Association this year; with the preseason getting to a good start, we are starting to see what rookies will be stepping up, and they may have to change it from big 3 to big 4.

The Lakers are looking awful strong.  This may be the best Lakers team since Magic.  I think the rest of the West has gotten old while the Lakers have really improved.

I think the Lakers are going to win the championship.  They have toughest all around team to matchup with.  If you stop Kobe, which I dont think anyone can, you will get beat by Gasol.  You have a arsenol of 3 point shooters.  The Lakers have proven they can run with teams like the Warriors and also that they can win close half court games with teams like the Celtics and the Cavs.  Lakers have an impressive resume thus far with very little blemishes.  Yes you can argue that the Bobcats have beaten the Lakers twice but the who can say they went into Cleveland and Beat Lebron James and the Cavs?  At this point only the lakers have dont this.  Who can say they stopped 2 of Bostons winning streaks of 10+?  Ummm the Lakers can.  They have proven night in and night out they can hang with the best,  They have the best record because of will to win.  In close games they finish.  Look at the Warriors game a couple of night ago they were losing the whole game and at one point they were down by double digest.  They calmly came back and finished the game strong and ultimatly came out of Oakland with a win.  Against the T'wolves the games was close but again the Lakers pull it out and manage to finish strong.

This team is one of the very few teams that can matchup with anybody.  They have shooters, inside presence, defense, and overall good talent.  Dont be suprised if the Lakers win 4-2 in the championship to the Celtics

Once again the Celtics ae the team to stop the Lakers. Unfortunately, since the Celtics will not have home court in the Eastern Conference, it will be Cleveland who will come out of the East an even though a Lebron-Kobe Finals would be mouthwatering, the Cavs don't matchup well with the Lakers so begrudgingly, I like the Lakers.

After watching the amazing playoff series between the Bulls and Celtics...i would count the Celtics out.  They didnt play like defending champs.  Yes, the bulls did play better than usual but you would think the Celtics would man handle the bulls and they didnt.  The Nuggets are looking real strong so far through the playoffs.  The rockets already took game 1 against the lakers.  So with all that being said I am going with who may be the underdog the Mavricks.  Dirk is playing some of the best basketball of his playoff career, Kidd is scoring and feeding post players the ball.  It may be a stretch but I am going to stick with the Mav's
