When Bill Parcells was hired as the guy to turn around the Miami Dolphins you knew quickly action would follow. First his statement of no thugs on this team will be something he stresses more than ever. He believes you do things a certain way and if your not going to pack your bags because I don't need you. In his short tenure he got rid of the General Manager and just recently fired the coach after a 1-15 season. Now I can understand both firings, but in Cam Cameron's defense he inherited this group of players, so he can't be totally to blame for the situation he was put in. What was interesting was the Dolphins signing Ricky Williams to a contract recently.
Parcells is a hands on guy so he will oversee everything that happens with the Dolphins. Heck rumor has it even Keyshawn Johnson who is best friends with Bill Parcells could suit up for the Dolphins. Now that would be interesting to say the least. The Dolphins have a lot of problems on both sides of the ball. They lack direction and Parcells will bring that. Getting a good coach is something Parcells will make sure they have first. I wonder if he might become coach until they find the guy they want.
The Dolphins have a lot of work to do, but their is no better man to take it up than Bill Parcells. He will turn this franchise around just like he has every place he has ever went. Parcells is a no nonsense guy that will make people accountable what they do on and off the field. It may take Parcells a few years, but he will have these Dolphins swimming in the right direction that's for sure.
