"That was a lie," Thomas said. "That was just a flat out lie - I will never ever, ever quit, ever."
That was Thomas refuting a report from a NY newspaper that claimed he would make a preemptive strike by leaving the bench and returning to his position as Knicks president on a full-time basis. Too bad for the franchise, but we were hoping that one was true!
It just pains me to keep reading ridiculous quote after ridiculous quote from the various NY newspapers who just love to print any dirt they can on ol' Zeke. We've dealt with sexual harassment suits, horrible trades, and multiple episodes with his current team. You just have to assume he has some serious info on James Dolan or he would have been gone a long time ago. Dolan does seem to be inching closer to the eventual beheading of Thomas; we just don't have that specific date yet. I'm just hoping he lets us know soon, so we can plan those parties!
The Knicks did pull out a nice win tonight against Detroit by holding the Pistons to just 65 points. Zach "Z-Bo" Randolph even made a game out of it by dropping 25 points on 11 of 18 shooting from the floor.
Mark those calendars for February! Hopefully we can send Isiah a cheery Valentine's card with love on his way out the door!
