     yes jet fans brett favre is here in the big apple to help the jets soar back into the nfl playoff picture after the dismal 2007 campaign. is favre really that good to accomplish such a feat at the age when most nfl quaterbacks have long packed in thier bags. there is no doubt in my mind he will prove to the nay sayers that he still has enough gas in his tank to bring the jets back to respectabilty, most people are not aware that favre had 1 of his best years in a while last year passing for over 4,000 yards and more than 25 td's, pennington and clemmens combined would probably not match those numbers.  and with the jets revamped offensive line its a no brainer the real question i think is for the jets players, they all need to step up and match brett's enthusisam and professionalism like traits and not just be in awe of future hall of famer and just play whithin the system eric mangini has inserted.   johnm.

  YES NEW YORK JET FANS I FIRMLY BELEIVE THE JETS ARE SET TO SOAR THIS YEAR, PROVIDING THE INJURY BUG DOES NOT BITE THEM TO BADLY. WITH ALL THE BIG FREE AGENTS THEY HAVE SHOVELD BIG MONEY TO A COUPLE OF PROBOWL CALIBER PLAYERS AND SEEMINGLY IN THE RITE POSITIONS. ERIC MANGINI DID NOT OVERLOOK THE DESIRE NEED FOR LINEMAN IN WICH SO MANY TEAMS DO WHEN THEY JOLT THE FREE AGENT MARKET, HOW SMART WAS IT TO GO OUT AND GET THE LIKES OF DAMIEON WOODY AND ALAN FANECA [WICH MANY NFL EXPERTS CONSIDER THE BEST GAURD IN THE NFL] WHO WERE BOTH 1ST ROUND DRAFT PICKS TO MENTOR THE JETS TWO 1ST ROUNDERS OF THIER OWN I GUESS THATS HOW ERIC GOT THE NICKNAME MANGENUIS. aLL THIS ADDS UP TO THE MAKING OF A DOMINATE OFFENSIVE LINE ALA DALLAS COWBOYS OF THE 80'S, OH AND DONT UNDERESTIMATE WHAT THIS DOES FOR
