1) Arizona Cardinals @ Philadelphia Eagles
Out of the 3 NFL games on the Thanksgiving slate this year, this is the most 'intriguing'. The Eagles at 5-5-1 are in deep jeopardy of losing any playoff hopes if they lose a single game/s for here on out. The Cardinals (7-4) on the other hand are safe as they play in a weak NFC West Division. So what gives in this game? Donovan McNabb got benched last week for the first time in his career in a surprising move by coach Andy Reid. Will he come back and play good football or will he continue to slide? McNabb is playing for the Eagles' and himself as a future Eagle here in this game. At 33, McNabb has not played like the Donovan McNabb of old. I read a stat that said the Eagles are 4-0 all time when playing on Thanksgiving, but stats are in the past. I think after a hard fought game with the Giants at home last Sunday that the Cardinals will fly into Philly and hand the Eagles a loss. I take Kurt Warner and Arizona in this one.

1) Houston Texans @ Cleveland Browns
Two disappointments this season go at it here. The Houston Texans who have had quarterback troubles all season with Matt Schaub going down in Minnesota a few weeks backs to bad decision making by back-up Sage Rosenfels. There's a lot wrong with this team. You can't point a finger on just one thing, there's multiple holes in the Texans offense/defense. The Browns have had similar problems. Quarterback Brady Quinn is slated to start despite suffering a broken finger in Monday Night's game at Buffalo. Both teams (Texans 8-8, Browns 10-6 last season) were expected to reach if not exceed last season's record, etc. Onto the actual game between the two: I see the game being relatively close, but the Texans just don't play well on the road and when they do play well...they don't usually finish. I see the Browns winning a 'squeaker'.

(I apologize for not having a Week 10 Fallout report last week, my schedule has gotten a tad busier as of late. But don't worry, I'll have my Predictions/Fallout reports on time for the remainder of the NFL season.)
(I also finished 3-1 in my picks this week snapping out of a 3 consecutive 2-2 spell. I picked without the Crypt Keeper and looked what happened! No word on whether the Crypt Keeper will return this Friday on the Predictions, so keep an eye out for that.)

1) Houston Texans @ Indianapolis Colts
To me, this is like the Cowboys/Giants game from a couple of weeks ago. No one expected the beat up Cowboys to go into Jersey and defeat the defending Super Bowl Champions. And going into this game hardly anyone thinks the Texans have a shot at beating the Colts. That's because they don't. Their not beating the Colts in Indy. This is a team thats getting healthier each week and a team that is getting hotter as the weeks progress. This should be relatively easy for the Colts as the Texans' season continues to get more disappointing.

1) Baltimore Ravens @ Houston Texans
Last time I checked this was a pick-em in Vegas. The Ravens rough and tough defense heads into Houston to battle the Texans at Reliant Stadium. Houston will be without starting quarterback Matt Schaub for up to a month or beyond with a torn MCL suffered in last week's game against the Minnesota Vikings. Back up Sage Rosenfels will get the call and before I make a prediction for this game. While I was watching the Broncos/Browns game on Thursday night. They showed a graphic for the AFC Playoff Picture and crazy enough...I saw the Texans logo! A long shot, but hey it's Week 10. Still 7 more weeks of football to be played. I'm going to go with the homer pick and pick the Texans here. If this game was being played in Baltimore, I would pick the Ravens in a heartbeat but the Texans have played good at home.

Toyota Center was scattered with empty seats throughout the lower and upper bowls, which is disappointing since this is the Celtics' only stop through Houston this season. Anytime a team is facing the Champs the arena should be packed! This was also a NBATV game, so disappointing to see the low attendance. This of course probably had to do with the Election and whatnot, but what else can a basketball game offer having two of the top tier teams in the NBA going at it?

Vikings 28 Texans 21
This was a game the Texans could have won despite Matt Schaub suffering an MCL injury in the second quarter due to a hit by Vikings' Jared Allen. Sage Rosenfels took over and led the team for a touchdown on the first drive after half-time, but those would be the only points for the Texans in the second half as their 3 game winning streak was snapped. The story remains the same: Texans play pretty good at home, but playing on the road has not netted good results.

1) Houston Texans @ Minnesota Vikings
The Texans are coming off a romp of the Cincinnati Bengals while the Vikings are fresh off a bye. A couple things that scare me being a Texans fan is Adrian Peterson and our run defense and the fact that Minnesota put up 41 points in Week 7 against a Bears defense. However the Texans have a couple things Minnesota fans can worry about: Andre Johnson and Mario Williams. Johnson has been absolutely ferocious as a receiver and Williams has been a sack master. Texans aren't a good road team and thats also a concern, but I'm picking them in this one as they'll win their 4th game in as many weeks getting them back to .500 after dropping their first four.

During the 4th quarter Yao was fouled hard going up for a shot by Mavericks' Josh Howard. Ron Artest rushed up and gently brushed up against Howard as he tried to separate the big man and Howard. Officials then decided to give Artest a technical. No doubt, if it wasn't for Artest's past reputation no technical would have been called (most likely!).

Before I begin, I just want to make something clear. The crystal ball made its return last Friday. I hyped it up, I basically said "yes the crystal ball sucked the past couple weeks, but I have faith in it. It will come back and win this week and every week" yada yada. Well my crystal ball since I started picking has gone 0-3 in its "Upset Picks". It picked the Buccaneers over the Cowboys. Yes, it was a close game, but the Cowboys still won. My best week with the crystal ball picking with me is 2-2. My best week with me picking alone is 3-1. The crystal ball has been nothing but aggravation.
