I say this not cause they seem to be struggling with the bulls, They went to 7 games in all 3 rounds of the playoffs last year so they are right on track from last year. This year though people have their number and they are banged up a bit like the lakers were.
I think they dont have the desire they did last year as well..They were hungrier last year.
Paul Pierce is over-rated.. where was he the past 10 years.. how many times did he get his team in the playoffs without KG and Allen? in the east yet to.. you can be under .500% and make the playoffs in the east...
last year they had Posey who i feel is the main player to stop the lakers on the defensive end and also made some huge shots.. they also dont have Sam Cassel who was a good leader and helped groom Rondo.. they dont have P.J. Brown who is a good veteran, they have inconsistant Mikki Moore and Stephon Marbury.. they lack the class they had last year..
They will be lucky to get out of the 2nd round this year if they can be lucky to win the 4th game in the first round..

I agree with you that the Celtics won't win the championship this year - I'd say 99% of the world agrees with you there. Garnett is out, they're decimated by other injuries, other teams like the Cavs and Lakers have gotten a lot better, and they have literally no bench.
But don't tell me that Paul Pierce is overrated. Did you watch the playoffs at all last year? The guy averages 23/7/5 in his career in the playoffs, and before the arrival of Garnett and Allen led his team to the playoffs four times, including to game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals in 2002. Saying he's overrated is just foolish.
