This is my premier Denver Guru Nugget blog so let me know what you think.

Now for the story on #15.

Carmelo has been playing great this season, and the last two games he played proved that he needs two games off if not more. This is a very painful injury that he has had since training camp began. Imagine a starting pitcher throwing his arm out and playing through the pain without proper time to rest, heal and regain confinence. The last time Melo complained of the elbow, he said that he could not pick up his son after the game. He also said that he was dishing the ball to NeNe because he could barely shoot.

Now that is said, GOOD! This will give other players to step it up. There is no way that loses to Cleveland and Pheonix can be chalked up to Carmelo's injury. NeNe taking jump shots? Are you crazy? Make a few free throws first. Kenyon Martin shooting jump hooks? Please dunk and rebound, that's all, oh ya, and make a few free throws. J.R. Smith, awesome at 3 pointers and driving the lane. LOVE IT, but how about a 20 footer or some other shot that doesn't look so inately impossible. Chauncey Billups, okay, you get a pass, playing great, but I want to see you make a Nugget player cry like KG did to Baby Shaq in Boston. Kleiza. Yeesh. I'm Lithuanian too, so I love the guy but, have you no free throw shot, let alone 3 pointer?

For a guy like Jay Cutler, his performance vs. the Bills will motivate a huge degree of improvement.

Interceptions are bound to Jay's game because he is so super-confident. At the end of the Bill's game, Cutler made two near INT's that could've cost him, but the defense, along with Kavika Mitchell deserve a lot of cred.

Overthrowing wideopen wideouts is unacceptable, but you don't need to tell Cutler that. You can only imagine the disgust that has been crawling on his skin since the loss. Wide open Royal, overthrown. Wide open Stokley, overthrown, twice.

The upcoming Denver Bronco game will feature shear offensive domination over the Chargers, or else Cutler's ego may suffer a humungous blow. He'll have his best game of the season for a few reasons.

The Denver Broncos are currently accepting applications for... yup Head Coach!

Mike Shanahan will surely be missed. He has defined our city for 14 seasons with and without John Elway. Does anyone remember the frustration under Dan Reeves? Run, Run, Pass. Boooooring! Wade Philips? Nevermind him, Dallas didn't make the playoffs either.

The only thing that made losing games under Shanahan was that they were good games... Maybe not losing 52-21 to the Chargers in the AFC Divisional, but usually they were close games.

Bill Cowher will not be the next Bronco Coach and so, hopefully Pat Bowlen will pick someone like he did 14 years ago when he took Shanahan from the Raiders. A young, dynamic, intelligent leader. Maybe black? Anything's possible.

It's just so hard to say goodbye, when Coach Shanahan was and is such a GREAT coach. May he be hired outside the AFC.
